Since the earth began, there have been many factors that frequently appear and create changes in the world, similar to the process of evolution. One of these factors has to be the efforts and talents of rock n roll. Rock music first appeared in the 1940's when a man named Elvis Presley decided to utilize his special birthday gift, and with that guitar he made music that was unknown to the people of that time period, but good enough to create a guideline for other musicians to follow. Only a decade later, four gifted artists set the world on fire and the fans ecstatic with their melodious and catchy classical rock. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Star formed the band known as the Beatles and the craze referred to as Beatle mania. A few years later, rock music took a heavy turn when fans started jamming their heads and cranking their radios to beats of metal rock music. Bands like Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, and AC/DC, banged on their drums, vigorously strummed their guitars, and roared into the mikes in an effort to rally up the crowd. Unique bands like Kiss wore exotic clothing and black make-up while onstage, creating a hugely popular trend for fans to imitate.
